We specialise in private African Safari creating a bespoke package just for you

Not only are you going on a life changing adventure, your guide is a top wildlife photographer, Matt will help you explore Africa and capture your wild encounters on camera for you to treasure.

Meet Your Guide

Matt is a zoology graduate who trained as a Professional Safari Guide both in South Africa and in South Luangwa, Zambia, an area recognised as setting the benchmark for guide training. It was whilst living and working in these far-flung corners of Africa that Matt’s passion for photography grew and he realised that sharing his expertise with others is what he loves.

He has spent time managing camps and guiding safaris, with considerable experience in lodges and camps ranging from simple tented bush camps in really wild places to luxury lodges in fabulous locations.

This has given Matt real “hands on” experience, he knows how it all works and so can get the very best out of camps and locations, exposing you to the brilliance of wildlife and landscape on a daily basis.

His professional, fun approach to guiding is coupled with a passion for wildlife, conservation and photography which he brings to every Safari.

You will find, as you build up your Safari plan with Matt, that he absolutely understands the importance of customer service and of your expectations as a private client.

How does it all work?

It all starts with a phone call or email. Once we have heard from you we will begin planning your safari closely together to ensure you get the experience you are after.

After the initial contact, Matt will arrange a time and date to either meet or talk directly over the phone. In this consultation Matt will ask a number of questions to ascertain exactly what is you are looking for on your safari.

After you consultation, Matt will take all the information you have provided him with and start putting together a bespoke itinerary specifically designed to suit your needs and wishes.

Once you have gone through the itinerary, you can discuss with Matt any changes you would like to make or confirm you are happy with what Matt has suggested. As soon as this is done, Matt will go ahead and make all the necessary reservations and travel plans.

Your safari will begin with Matt meeting you at the agreed international airport of arrival, for example Lusaka, Zambia, form where your safari will begin. From here you will transfer by air or road to your chosen safari destination.

When you are of Safari your day will be filled with a minimum of two wonderful game viewing activities per day, such as game drives, walks or hide trips. Matt will be with you and at your disposal for the duration of your safari, on hand 24/7 to answer any questions your may have.

Having Matt guide you through your safari will ensure you have expert guidance and specialist wildlife and photographic expertise to draw from  throughout your entire trip, not just on your activities, but back at camp as well.

Your Safari will end at the international airport of departure where you will bid farewell to Matt and begin your journey home. Full of the wonderful memories from a once in a lifetime trip.

However, this will not be the last you hear from Matt. By this stage you will have all his personal contact details and you are free to get in touch with Matt at any stage should you require any assistance with planning your next safari to advice on processing your photographs on programs such as lightroom or Photoshop.

“Between Annie and me, we got some sensational pictures. Thanks for all your help and patience.”
